Kings & Queens Exhibition Opening and Panel Discussion at CUNY

Kings & Queens, a portrait project by Dutch photographer Leon Hendrickx, has landed at the Law School at the City University of New York, and I couldn’t be prouder. After managing this show at Photoville in 2018, I jumped in once again to help bring this incredible work to a new venue. There will be an opening event and panel discussion on Oct.2, 2019 from 5pm-7pm at CUNY’s Long Island City campus, featuring Hendrickx in conversation with his collaborator Micha Schneijderberg (aka Snorella), and Professor Ruthanne Robson on the legal challenges facing the LGBTQ community, and the work lawyers, activists, and other legal advocates are doing to address inequity in the legal system.
The event is free and open to the public, and will feature appearances from some of the New York City subjects of the project.
